Loads of recording!
Somehow, it’s already been seven weeks since the last blog entry—how did that happen? Time’s been flying, and it feels good to be moving into spring. Longer days, a bit more light, and plenty happening with recording and gigs. Here’s a quick update on where things are at.
Recording for the new album is in full swing. After putting it off for so long, there is a mountain of tunes to track, but it feels like we’ve moved past the foothills and are making our way to base camp. The process is intense—draining, yet fulfilling. There is so much to learn about engineering, production, and the songs themselves. It’s an ongoing cycle of refining guitar and vocal parts, adding bass lines—some as guides, others that might make the final cut. Overall, feeling pretty positive.
Between recording sessions, the band has been getting together to keep our existing set tight while also working in some new tunes. It’s been great to keep the live energy flowing alongside the studio work.
